Noticeably absent from the affair was Michael’s wife, Catherine.

A friend of the family told PEOPLE that Catherine’s admittance to rehab was strictly a precautionary measure since she’s planning to go back to work soon.

“She went in for a few days because she’s about to start working, and to make sure she’s in top form,” says the friend, “which she is.”
